When the skin is exposed to the sun, reapply the Very High Protection Cream SPF50+ every 2 hours and avoid the sun between 12pm and 4pm. Keep babies and young children out of direct sunlight. Wear a T-shirt, sunglasses and a hat while being exposed to the sun.

The Very High Protection Cream SPF50+ is suitable for the whole family, including children and babies from 6 months, when sun exposure is unavoidable.
Formulated with high‑performance organic filters, our suncare products provide effective protection while suitable for even the most sensitive skin.
As children’s and babies’ skin is especially delicate and vulnerable, additional sun precautions are essential: stay in the shade, wear protective clothing and use appropriate sun protection accessories.
Our suncare products complement these precautions but do not replace them.

great as a non-toxic spf which scores highly on yuka. does cause some peeling if used too soon after other products and has a strange smell when put on the skin

Horrible smell
The spf has an absolutely horrible smell as though someone has been sick. I had to go out and buy a different brand to use as it was so off putting. I did write to Caudalie but they basically just said sorry!

Not acne friendly!
Did not work for my oily skin, but my mom loved it. It smells nice and it’s easy to apply but, if you have more acne-prone skin, I wouldn’t recommend. It gave me a lot of breakouts :(

Disappointing experience due to pilling
I wanted to love this sunscreen, but unfortunately it pills badly on my skin. What is especially strange is that it did not happen during the first week of use. After that, the product started rolling off my face while I was still applying it, even though I had not changed anything in my routine. I apply it to clean, dry skin and do not use any other skincare products underneath. In the evening, I double cleanse using Caudalie Vinoclean Make-up Removing Cleansing Oil followed by the Instant Foaming Cleanser. I do not wear makeup, and during summer I am not using any exfoliating acids, retinol, or other potentially irritating products. Customer service suggested that the issue might be caused by dead skin build-up and recommended exfoliating and using a hydrating mask. However, I find this explanation difficult to accept. My skin does not peel even in winter when I use retinol, so it seems unlikely that my skin would suddenly start shedding so much in summer while only using sunscreen. I have also noticed that other reviewers have reported similar pilling issues, which makes me wonder whether this is a product formulation problem rather than something specific to my skin. My batch code is 48389. I bought it from Boots. Unfortunately, this has made me reluctant to repurchase it.

It may also help to gently pat the product onto the skin during application instead of rubbing or massaging it for an extended period. So Much Better Than I Expected
As someone with dry acne prone skin, I thought this sunscreen would feel heavy and make me break out. But once I applied it, it honestly felt like I wasn’t wearing anything. I didn’t expect that at all! Plus, the scent is amazing it reminds me of my childhood.

its so hard to love this sunscreen
Sticky, oily, never absorbed on skin, I tired many ways to make it work but still remain very heavy on my skin / smell is giving me headache. Pilling , just waste of money and time because you end add washing face again . just terrible . please I am very disappointed !
