1. Apply the Tinted Lip Balm to your lips and cheeks as often as needed. On the cheeks, blend with your finger. Its buildable shade allows you to enhance the raspberry color with each application: one layer for a natural look, multiple layers for a more intense finish.
2. Shake the Beauty Elixir before use, then spritz on the face and décolleté, avoiding the eyes. You can use it:
- In the morning, as a toner.
- Just after applying foundation, it sets makeup for hours.
- Used any time of the day, it tightens pores and gives dull and tired complexions a boost of radiance.
- After taking your makeup off in the evening, it purifies the complexion efficiently.
- During a flight, it protects dry and sensitive skin.

So sad this contains titanium dioxide
I adored this lip balm, purchasing it in France and Hong Kong and then when available in the UK. Imagine my distress when I inputted it into Yuka to see a ‘poor’ rating…. not because of the animal-free dye (as misleadingly suggested in the FAQ’s on this page), but because of the inclusion of titanium dioxide. Titanium dioxide should not be used if at risk of ingestion, which obviously it is with a lip balm. Please fix this, Caudalie!!

The “orange” rating on Yuka is specifically linked to the use of this mineral colourant as an alternative to animal-derived colourants such as cochineal. I loved the texture and feel of this lip balm but it had a slight tint that did not match my brown skin tone. I love the formula but not the shade.
